You can use channels to extend your store’s reach beyond your BigCommerce storefront.
Channels come in many forms — there are marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, and Walmart that serve as sales channels, point of sales systems that bridge your physical and online inventory, and marketing channels like Google Ads that promote your brand and products. Some platforms, like Facebook and Instagram, operate as both marketing and sales channels.
A storefront channel can operate as your primary storefront (replacing your BigCommerce storefront) or supplement it for localization or market segmentation purposes. See our Guide to Headless Commerce.
Most of the channels found here can be set up and managed in Channel Manager in your control panel. Channel Manager provides a centralized location for you to discover and set up best-in-class partners and service providers. Channel Manager lets you see the status of all your connected channels at one time, and reconfigure or disable them as needed.
Where is Codisto? Codisto shut down their integration with BigCommerce on May 16, 2024. If you need a free sales channel listing solution, we recommend SellerActive Marketplace Manager.
