Moneybookers, also known as Skrill, is a digital wallet that allows shoppers to upload money for secure payments. Supporting transactions in more than 40 currencies across more than 200 countries, Moneybookers offers a frictionless checkout experience for your shoppers around the world.
How It Works
Once you’ve enabled Moneybookers with BlueSnap Direct, shoppers meeting the requirements will see it as an available payment option at checkout.
When the shopper proceeds with the order, they will be redirected to the Moneybookers payment page to log into their account and complete the transaction.
After the order has been placed, it will appear in your control panel as BlueSnap Payments (Moneybookers). Orders placed using Moneybookers share the same fulfillment process as typical orders.
Requirements and Limitations
- Your store must meet the following criteria:
- AUD, BGN, BHD, BRL, CAD, CHF, CZK, COP, DKK, EUR, GBP, HKD, HRK, HUF, ILS, INR, ISK, JOD, JPY, KES, KRW, KWD, MAD, MYR, NOK, NZD, OMR, PLN, QAR, RON, RSD, RUB, SAR, SEK, SGD, THB, TND, TRY, TWD, USD, ZAR.
- Your store must use Optimized One-Page Checkout.
- Shopper Requirements
- Shoppers must be located in one of BlueSnap’s supported countries.
- Shoppers must use one of the following transaction currencies: AED, AUD, BGN, BHD, BRL, CAD, CHF, CZK, COP, DKK, EUR, GBP, HKD, HRK, HUF, ILS, INR, ISK, JOD, JPY, KES, KRW, KWD, MAD, MYR, NOK, NZD, OMR, PLN, QAR, RON, RSD, RUB, SAR, SEK, SGD, THB, TND, TRY, TWD, USD, ZAR.
- Limitations
- Manual capture is not supported.

- You must request Moneybookers (Skrill) to be added to your Nexi XPay merchant account. To request Moneybookers (Skrill), complete this contract and return it to PPRO, Nexi's Partner.
- You must enable Moneybookers (Skrill) in your Nexi merchant account under the Alternative Payments menu with the ID you received from PPRO.
- Limitations
- Refunds are possible only after funds have been received and the transaction has the Accounted status in your merchant account.
