Resizing Your Logo

This guide provides steps you can take to resize your logo image if it is too large for your BigCommerce store's theme.

Automatic Resizing

Follow these steps to have your logo automatically resized when uploading it to your theme.

1. Go to SettingsStore SetupDesign, then click the Logo tab.

2. Select Upload a logo image from my computer.

3. Scroll down to the Logo Upload section, then click Choose File.

The recommended logo size for your theme is listed below the Choose File button. If possible, create or have your designer create your logo at these exact dimensions.

4. Select your logo image file from your computer. Accepted file formats are .jpg, .png, and .gif.

5. Check Resize Logo?, located below the Choose File button.

6. Click Upload Logo Image.

Resizing via Pixlr.com

Follow these steps to manually resize your logo before uploading it to your store.

Resizing Your Logo

1. Go to pixlr.com, scroll down, then click Launch Web App for the Pixlr Editor option.

2. Click Open image from computer, then select your logo image.

3. Click ImageImage size.

4. Leave the Constrain proportions option enabled, enter a new width or height for your image, then click OK.

5. Click FileSave, then add -resized to your image's name.

6. Click OK, then save the resized image to your computer.

Uploading Your Resized Logo

1. In your BigCommerce control panel, go to Settings &rsaqou; Store Setup &rsaqou; Design, then click the Logo tab.

2. Select Upload a logo image from my computer.

3. Scroll down to the Logo Upload section, then click Choose File.

4. Select your resized logo image file from your computer.

5. Uncheck Resize Logo? located below the Choose File button.

6. Click Upload Logo Image.
