A payment gateway is a merchant service provided by an e-commerce application service provider that authorizes credit card or direct payment processing. Not all payment gateways are available to all countries and currencies. Your Store Country setting will determine the payment gateways available to you.

What is a hosted payment gateway? Hosted payment gateways direct customers off your site’s checkout to the payment service providers page to enter their payment information. They will be returned back to your website to finish the checkout process once payment has been completed.

Payment Gateways that Allow Manual Capture

A digital wallet is an account that allows you to make online purchases from participating retailers without having to enter your payment information. For example, with Apple Pay, a customer using Apple Wallet can check out on any store integrated with Apple Pay and will not need to enter their payment details.
