Paysafecard is an online payment method utilizing a prepaid card that is purchasable at over 500,000 sales outlets worldwide. Paysafecard allows shoppers to make purchases without having to give out personal or financial details. This payment is popular with young shoppers, and it is a great way to accept purchases from customers that don’t have a bank account or credit card.

 

How It Works

Once connected, shoppers meeting the requirements will see paysafecard as an available payment option at checkout.

After proceeding with the order, the shopper will be redirected to paysafecard’s payment page. From there, they can enter the code on their prepaid card to complete the transaction.

When the order is placed, it will appear in your control panel as gateway (Paysafecard) or Paysafecard (via gateway) in the Payment Method field. Orders placed using paysafecard share the same fulfillment process as typical orders.

Requirements and Limitations

  • Your store must meet the following criteria:
  • Limitations
    • Manual capture is not supported by any paysafecard integration.

  • Additional Setup
    • You must enable paysafecard in your BlueSnap account to make it available on your store.
  • Shopper Requirements
    • Shopper’s shipping address must be in one of the following countries: US, UK, AT, BE, CZ, DK, FR, DE, GB, GR, IE, IT, LU, NL, NO, PL, PT, SK, SI, ES, SE, or CH.
    • Shopper’s transaction currency must be USD, CHF, CZK, DKK, EUR, GBP, NOK, PLN, or SEK.

    • You must contact Mollie’s Support team to enable paysafecard in your Mollie dashboard.
  • Shopper Requirements
    • Shopper’s shipping address must be in one of the following countries: DE, GB, FR, ES, AT, GR, NL, BE, LU, CH, PT, DK, IE, PL, SK, CZ, SI, IT, or SE.
    • Shopper’s transaction currency must be EUR.
