Zoom2u is an on-demand, same-day express courier in Australia that delivers in major metro areas such as Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth. By offering faster fulfillment, you're able to improve the experience your customers have with your brand, as well as differentiate yourself from your competitors.
Providing real-time shipping quotes with Zoom2u is available only to clients who ship from Australia. Before setting up Zoom2u, you'll need to set up your shipping origin and create a shipping zone in your Shipping Setup.
How it Works
Merchants first register with Zoom2u, either online or through the Zoom2u app. Once registered, they then enter the type of delivery service they need, and the pickup and dropoff locations.
Zoom2u will then provide a live tracking URL and the vetted courier's contact information while they deliver the parcel.
Delivery Areas
Zoom2u pick up areas are focused around the central business district (CBD) of major metro areas and surrounding suburbs - but can deliver to most major Australian metro areas. Check below for more information on the courier delivery services available in each area:
Connecting to Zoom2u
If you do not currently have a Zoom2u account, you can register for one. Once you have created an account or logged into an existing account, click on My Profile in the menu. Select Integrations, and from here you can generate an API key by clicking Generate new Zoom2u API key. Copy the API key, as you will need it again shortly.
1. Go to Settings › Shipping in the BigCommerce control panel, and click Edit or Configure next to your desired shipping zone.
2. Once you're in the zone, scroll down to Real-time shipping quotes and click Connect next to Zoom2u.
3. Under the Settings tab, enter a display name (such as "Zoom2u"), and select a least one delivery service.
4. If you have more than one storefront, the Storefronts tab allows you to toggle your Zoom2u integration on or off for each storefront. This gives you the ability to provide distinct shipping methods tailored to a geographical region or customer segment. See our Multi-Storefront article for more information.
5. Click on the Connection tab and add the API key you generated earlier into API Auth Key, then click Submit.
Please note: The new API key will be in test mode by default. You will need to go into your Zoom2u customer portal, go to My Profile › Integrations, and click Go Online in order to provide live quotes.
Your Zoom2u integration is now set up. The Quote tab lets you test your connection and get a quote. Enter your destination country, state, and postcode, followed by your package weight, value, and dimensions. Click Get quote, and you will see a shipping quote for all valid services.
FAQ
I have multiple storefronts, can I use a different Zoom2u account for each storefront?
No. While you can toggle shipping methods on or off per storefront, the Connection tab is a global setting. You can only connect one Zoom2u account per store.
