QPay is Qatar’s domestic payment network. QPay offers a trusted payment experience via one-time passcode authentication after a shopper enters their credit card credentials. As one of Qatar's major local card schemes, QPay offers a secure and convenient way of expanding your customer base in this growing market.
How It Works
Once you’ve connected QPay with Checkout.com, shoppers meeting the requirements will see it as an available payment option at checkout.
After entering their Qatar National ID and proceeding with the order, the shopper will be taken to the QPay payment page to enter their QPay card details. Before completing the transaction, they will be sent a one-time passcode to their mobile device in order to verify their identity.
When the order is placed, it will appear in your control panel as QPay (via Checkout.com) in the Payment Method field. Orders placed using QPay share the same fulfillment process as typical orders.
