Bank transfers account for 80-90% of online payments in Poland, making Przelewy24 vital for converting Polish shoppers into buyers. Since it is a guaranteed payment method, there is no risk of chargebacks.
How It Works
Once connected, shoppers meeting the requirements will see Przelewy24 as an available payment option at checkout.
After proceeding with the order, they will be taken to the Przelewy24 payment page to select their bank and enter their credentials.
When the order is placed, it will appear in your control panel as gateway (Przelewy24) or Przelewy24 (via gateway) in the Payment Method field. Orders placed using Przelewy24 share the same fulfillment process as typical orders.
Requirements and Limitations
- Your store must meet the following criteria:
- Your store must use Optimized One-Page Checkout.
- Shopper Requirements
- Shoppers must use an address in Poland at checkout.
- Limitations
- Manual capture is not supported by any Przelewy24 integration.

- Shoppers must have PLN or EUR selected as their transaction currency.
- Limitations
- Funds are not captured on the same day.
- Transactions must be voided from your Checkout.com dashboard.

- You must enable Przelewy24 in your Nexi merchant account under the Alternative Payments menu with the ID you received from PPRO.
- Limitations
- Refunds are possible only after funds have been received and the transaction has the Accounted status in your merchant account.

Is Przelewy24 available with other payment gateways?
Przelewy24 can only be offered via the gateways listed above. However, Przelewy24 has partnered with Adyen to offer Online Banking Poland, which supports bank transfer payments with Poland's major banks.
