PayNow is a popular mobile payment service in Singapore that enables shoppers to instantly send and receive funds from one bank or e-wallet account to another. Using PayNow, your shoppers can scan a QR code at checkout and securely pay for their orders from their preferred banking app.
How It Works
Once connected, shoppers meeting the requirements will see PayNow as an available payment gateway at checkout.
After proceeding with the order, they will be given a QR code to scan with their preferred banking app and complete the payment when they are ready.
If the shopper completes payment in their preferred app within 5 minutes of placing the order, it will appear in your control panel as PayNow (via Stripe) with a status of Awaiting Fulfillment. If the shopper takes longer han 5 minutes to pay for their order, it will appear with a status of Awaiting Payment. Once paid, the order status will automatically change to Awaiting Fulfillment, indicating it is ready to be processed.
