General Requirements
- You will need a Google account.
- Individual apps may have additional requirements.
Google Merchant Center Requirements
- You must have a Terms of Service and refund policy page on your storefront.
- Your website must have an accurate contact information page that includes at least one way for customers to contact you. Examples of eligible methods include, but are not limited to, a contact us form, a link to your business profile on social media, and an email address or phone number.
- Your selected storefront must be launched and active.
- You must have a secure checkout process. If your storefront is hosted by BigCommerce, your checkout is secure. If your storefront is hosted elsewhere, it should have an SSL certificate and use sitewide HTTPS.
- You must comply with Google Shopping policies.
Setup
To get your products to appear in Google Shopping (free or ads), you will need an app to connect your store to Google.
To get started, use Channel Manager to find and install an app to connect your store. You can also find apps for Google Shopping in the App Marketplace.
Go to Channel Manager and click + Create Channel. Under Ads and Social, click Connect next to Google Ads.
Choose an app from the list of providers and click Connect.

Does it cost anything to send my products to Google Shopping?
If they meet the requirements, your products are eligible to appear for free in the Google Shopping tab, and can also appear on Google Search and Google Images. Learn more about free listings here.
You can also use Google Ads to promote your products across Google Search, Shopping, YouTube, Gmail, and the Google Display Network. Google Ads campaigns are pay-per-click, meaning you only pay when someone clicks on your ads.
