Google Pay is a mobile payment option that gives your shoppers a faster, simpler way to pay. Using Google Pay, your shoppers can pay for orders from the cart or checkout page with a click.

With Google Pay, you can reduce friction at checkout and reach more customers. To learn more, see Google’s Google Pay for Business article.

How It Works

Shoppers that meet the requirements will see the option to check out with Google Pay on product pages, the cart page, in the quick cart, and at checkout.

The shopper will be prompted to sign into their Google account, if they are not already logged in. From there, they can select either a saved credit or debit card, or add a new one to their wallet.

Shoppers are brought to the checkout page to enter their shipping information as the last step; the billing address will be automatically filled in by Google Pay. Shoppers can review their order and payment details before clicking the Place Order button.

After the order has been placed, it will appear in your control panel as Google Pay in the Payment Method field. Orders placed using Google Pay share the same fulfillment process as typical orders.
