Worldpay is a global payment processor offering in-store and online payment solutions. It is available to stores based in the United States and using USD for currency. Worldpay Ecomm only works with Optimized One-Page Checkout.
Requirements
To use Worldpay Ecomm, your store must meet the following requirements:
- Manage Payments and Manage Settings user permissions must be enabled.
Worldpay Ecomm Features
Worldpay comes with the following features:
- Automatically checks for CVV
- Can be set to Authorize Only
- Set a Report Group ID to group orders inside your Worldpay account
- Control the phone number that will show up on a shopper’s credit card statements through a custom field
Enabling Worldpay Ecomm Payment Gateway
Worldpay Ecomm is one of the options available under Settings › Payments.
To enable, click Set up next to Worldpay Ecomm, then click the Manage Worldpay Account link to sign-up for a Worldpay account. Once the account is created, return to BigCommerce and enter the login, password and merchant ID.
Adjust the remaining features to your preference.
- Store contact phone number — phone number displayed on customer credit card statements.
- Report Group ID — assign all transactions to a specific group within your Worldpay dashboard for financial reporting
- Card Acceptor Tax ID — specify your card acceptor tax ID
- Require Customer Code — require customers to enter in a customer code with their credit card information during checkout
- Transaction Type — select Authorize & Capture or Authorize Only
- Test Mode — enable or disable test mode on the checkout
