CCAvenue powers more than 85% of the ecommerce merchants in India and is one of the largest payment gateways in India today. CCAvenue helps businesses in India accept credit credit payments online by supporting the six major credit cards (Mastercard, American Express, Visa, RuPay, Diners Club, and eZeClick), as well as net banking and debit cards for thousands of customers.
Requirements
To use CCAvenue, you must meet the following requirements:
- Your store is located in India.
- Your store’s default currency is Indian Rupee (INR) or US Dollar (USD).
- Your store is using Optimized One-Page Checkout.
- You have a CCAvenue Merchant Account.
- Your CCAvenue account must be configured for the Billing (Non-Seamless) BigCommerce integration.
- Your orders URL http://payments.bigcommerce.com/ must be whitelisted in order for keys to generate correctly.
- Your Merchant ID, Access Code, and Working Key must be whitelisted with CCAvenue. Contact CCAvenue support for assistance.
- Manage Payments and Manage Settings user permissions must be enabled.
Setting up Your CCAvenue Account
1. Within your CCAvenue account, go to Settings › Gateway and update your settings to the following:
- Default Currency: INR
- Default Language: English
- Edit Pre-Populated Data: NO
- Shipping Address: YES
- Notes & Instructions: NO
- Discounts: NO
- Promotions: NO
- Order Emails: NO
2. Within your CCAvenue account, go to Settings › API Keys and find the following values:
- Merchant ID
- Access Code
- Working Key
Setting up CCAvenue in BigCommerce
1. Go to Settings › Payments.
2. Locate CCAvenue from the list of Online Payment Methods and click Set up.
3. You will be taken to the CCAvenue Settings tab. Enter the credentials from your CCAvenue merchant account into their corresponding fields.
- Display Name — Control how the payment gateway appears at checkout.
- Access Code — This is the access code for BigCommerce.
- Merchant ID — This is the identifier for your CCAvenue merchant Account.
- Working Key — This is the secret key used for encrypting each request originating from BigCommerce.
Authorize Only
CCAvenue on BigCommerce supports Authorize-Only transactions, which allows you to capture the funds manually. You must wait for 24 hours after a successful authorization before you can manually capture payments within the BigCommerce control panel.

PRICING & FEES
What fees are associated with the gateway?
- Domestic: There is a 2% + ₹3.00 transaction rate for all MasterCard & Visa credit cards, debit cards, and net banking.
- International: There is a 3% + ₹3.00 transaction rate for MasterCard & Visa credit cards, American Express, JCB, and Diners Club credit cards.

ACCOUNT ELIGIBILITY
What currencies and countries does the payment gateway support?
- Merchants must be located in India.
- Merchants must process transactions in Indian Rupee (INR) or US Dollar (USD).
By default, payments will be processed in the local currency that your business is registered in. For example, if your business is located in India, then payment will default to Indian Rupee (INR).
When transacting in India Rupee (INR), customers will be able to select net banking and debit cards, as well as credit cards. To see which banks are supported, check CCAvenue's list of payment options for net banking and debit cards.

TRANSACTIONS
How long until funds are transferred to my bank?

REFUNDS
How soon after a transaction can I perform a refund?

Is there an amount of time after which I cannot perform a refund?

Are there any fees for chargebacks/refunds?
No, however, if any chargeback is reported by the cardholder, you will be liable to pay the amount back to CCAvenue, or it will be adjusted with the current balance of your account with CCAvenue; or you will be liable to refund back the disputed amount back to CCAvenue. Does it allow authorize-only or recurring/subscription payments?
- Authorizations — Yes, Authorize-Only, Capture and Void, and Refund (Full Refund only) options are supported.
- Recurring/Subscriptions — At this time, recurring and subscription payments are not supported through BigCommerce.
