Bizum is an Online Banking payment method in Spain that allows customers to make instant payments directly from their bank account, without the need for a credit or debit card.
How It Works
Once you’ve connected Bizum, shoppers meeting the requirements will see it as an available payment option at checkout.
When the shopper proceeds with the order, they will be taken to a Bizum page where they must enter a mobile number registered with Bizum. To confirm the transaction, the shopper opens their banking or wallet app participating in Bizum. When the purchase is complete, they are redirected to an order confirmation page.
After the order is placed, it will appear in your control panel as bizum (via gateway) in the Payment Method field. Orders placed using Bizum share the same fulfillment process as typical orders.
