BigCommerce for WordPress supports almost all of the native BigCommerce product features, including complex products (those with variations/options), variant pricing, promotions, and multi-channel selling (via marketplaces like eBay, Amazon, Facebook, and Square).

BigCommerce for WordPress does not support BigCommerce product or option rules. However, most rule functionality (like adjusting price, disabling a specific variant, and showing a different image) can be accomplished using SKUs.

App Compatibility

The BigCommerce for WordPress plugin uses WordPress to render your storefront, so some apps in the BigCommerce App Marketplace may not work, as they are designed for a BigCommerce-powered storefront experience.

However, hundreds of backend apps that don’t affect the storefront (like apps that manage catalogs, orders, shipping, and customers) are still supported. Several compatible apps can be found in these categories:

Even if a specific BigCommerce app isn’t compatible with your WordPress storefront, you may be able to find an equivalent alternative via the WordPress Plugin Directory. For example, companies like MailChimp offer apps/plugins for both BigCommerce and WordPress.
