What is WebDAV?
WebDAV is a protocol that allows you to move files between your computer and your store's server. It allows you to access your store's files from your computer and add, delete, update, or rename them. Connecting to your store via WebDAV requires using a webDAV client, which is a program that gives you a visual of the files.
Why is WebDAV important?
WebDAV can make some tasks (like adding multiple product images) much faster, because it lets you upload them in bulk. It is the only way to complete other tasks (like changing your Stencil Custom Templates). It can also be used as a way to import or export CSV files that are too large to access within the control panel.
