Installing the PayWhirl App

PayWhirl Recurring Payments makes it easy to create and manage subscriptions, payment plans and automatic invoicing. With PayWhirl, you can maximize revenue and increase conversions while improving customer satisfaction and loyalty.

What does the PayWhirl app do?

The PayWhirl app enables you to offer additional payment options like:

  • subscriptions
  • payment plans
  • layaway programs

PayWhirl eliminates all the custom development work needed to code the tools that allow your shoppers to sign-up for memberships, create accounts and manage their subscriptions.

Requirements

To process payments with PayWhirl, you'll need to connect a payment gateway within PayWhirl. The available payment gateways will depend on the PayWhirl plan you selected during signup.

Take note! This payment gateway is only used for orders processed through PayWhirl. Orders not processed through PayWhirl will use your BigCommerce payment gateway.

Connecting the PayWhirl App

1. Go to AppsMarketplace.

2. Search for PayWhirl and click on the title.

3. Click Install to begin the installation.

4. You will be asked to grant the PayWhirl app permission to integrate with your store. Click Confirm to continue.

5. You will now be asked to create an account or sign into an existing account.

 

What plan will I have? You'll automatically be placed in the Starter plan if you're creating an account for the first time.
