Setting up the Zip Widget

If you're using a Stencil theme that supports the Zip widget, you have the option to display banners on your cart page, homepage, and product pages.

All of our free BigCommerce themes (except Fortune) and a few select paid themes support the Zip widget. If you're using a paid or custom theme, contact your theme developer to find out if yours supports it.

If your store is located in New Zealand, United States or Canada, select the locations where you would like to display storefront banners.

If your store is located in Australia, copy and paste your Merchant Public Key from the Zip dashboard into the Merchant Public Key field, then select the locations where you would like to display storefront banners. The Merchant Public Key is located under Dashboard › Settings › Integration Details.

Zip widget settings

If you've customized your theme template, make sure the following regions still exist in your template in order for the widget to display correctly:

  • The homepage region is header_bottom
  • The product page region is product_below_price
  • The cart page region is cart_below_totals
