BigCommerce now integrates with Constant Contact e-mail marketing to make it easy for you to set up newsletters and promotional materials. First, you'll need a Constant Contact account. You can either sign up for a plan, or you can use your existing account.
1.) Go to the Constant Contact Developer page.
2.) Login with your username and password for Constant Contact.

3.) Click on API Key.

4.) Enter your username and password again for Constant Contact and click Continue.
* Your Constant Contact username cannot be an e-mail address. If it is currently an e-mail address, please make sure to change it by following the instructions here.

5.) Now, enter in the required information to request your API Key.
6.) There is also an area for information about your business. You may enter this if you like, but it is not required.
7.) At the bottom of the page, click the checkbox next to I have read and I accept the Constant Contact API Terms & Conditions, and click Request an API Key.

8.) You should now be presented with your API Key. Copy it.

1.) Login to your store's control panel.
2.) Click on Marketing and then E-mail Marketing.

3.) Check the box next to Constant Contact, and click Save.

4.) Now, the Constant Contact tab will display. Click on it.

5.) Here, enter your Constant Contact username, password, and API key we got from the steps above.

6.) Click Verify API Key, and you should get a message like the one below. If it fails, please make sure that there are no extra spaces and that the entire API key was copied.

7.) Once the API key verifies, you should be able to add rules for list subscriptions for your customers.
8.) When you're finished editing rules, click Save.
